Money donated by Garth and Gary's Ironman 4 the Kidz charity was used to build a new recreation centre for the children of the  Eastern Province Child & Youth Care Centre. Garth and Gary officially opened the Centre in October 2011.

The children now have a myriad of activities to keep them occupied, which includes table tennis, snooker, foosball, gym equipment and computer games.

The beaming smiles on the kids faces showed just how much this meant to them!

In 2005 the Charity’s reach was limited to only one beneficiary, but as time has moved on, our reach has extended to 11 beneficiaries in 2011. The institutions that we support are struggling even more than usual with
the downturn in the economy. The money collected yearly is used mainly on EDUCATION, COUNSELING and SPORT ADVANCEMENT for the Kidz.

The KFC Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity Trust is associated with 3 major events from which funds are raised yearly: 70,3, Specsavers Ironman and the new Irongirl race ,which runs in East London and Port Elizabeth on race weekends!
Donations are not limited to only these events and the public can also make a difference by making an on-line donation on our web-site. These funds are accumulated and added to the final goal in 2012
Please see below the charties that have currently benefited from your contributions in 2011:

Oosterland Youth Centre
